Video: Restaurant shut for 'salad cockroach'

Saudi health authorities shut down a famous grills restaurant after a customer captured a film showing live cockroaches in the salad.

'Sabq' newspaper said a Saudi customer who went into the restaurant in the northwestern town of Tabuk used his mobile to film the insect in the salad dish.

The paper also published a picture showing the restaurant was shut and quoted officials as saying it would be allowed to reopen after it pays a heavy fine and meet sanitary conditions set by the municipality.
