Video: Saudi petrol pump shut for cheating

Saudi authorities shut down a petrol station after it was found to be cheating customers by charging them more than it supplies their cars.

The closure of the station near the eastern port of Dammam followed reports by drivers that their fuel gauge showed the petrol supplied was far below what they had paid.

Ministry of Trade and Industry inspectors raiding the station found that the pump metre had been tampered with in order to supply less than what is actually paid by drivers, according to Sada Arabic language daily.
