Video: they stole my honey, old man tells Saudi prince

An ageing Saudi vendor used a visit by the monarch’s son to complain that municipality inspectors stole 2kg of honey from him before expelling him.

A YouTube film published by Sabq newspaper showed the man appeared to be shouting when he spoke to Prince Sultan bin Salman  bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the National Tourism and Heritage Authority, who was visiting the area in the Western Taif town to inspect a development project.

“They stole two kilos of honey from me…they then expelled me and banned from selling there,” he told the prince, according to the paper.

It said the Prince promised the Saudi vendor to have his own shop so the inspectors would not have any excuse to expel him again.
