'Wasp in meal' shuts restaurant
Saudi authorities shut an Arab restaurant after a customer found a dead wasp in a rice and meat meal he had bought for his family.
Salman Al Harthi said he and his family had just started to eat the meal at his house in the southern town of Taif when they found the wasp inside the rice.
“Harthi said he went straight to the municipality and showed them the meal. They immediately ordered the closure of the restaurant, which will also be fined,” the Saudi Arabic language Sabq daily said.
