A Senegalese woman in Saudi Arabia waited for a jewelry shop to be packed with customers ahead of Eid Al-Adha, picked the most expensive pieces and stealthily stuffed them under her black Arabian gown-- unaware of the tiny security camera above her head.
Just as she tried to leave, the shop’s doors were abruptly shut and customers were told to stay in for security reasons.
“Customers stayed in until a worker called the police….when they arrived, police were given a video film showing what the Senegalese woman had done,” Okaz newspaper said in a report from the western Red Sea port of Jeddah.
