Woman in suicide bid over Gaddafi’s death

A Syrian woman in Kuwait tried to commit a suicide after she was saddened by the death of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

The 31-year-old woman, who was not named, took a large amount of pills and other drugs just after watching how the former dictator was pulled out of a pipe by the rebels and killed in his birthplace town of Sirte.

“She was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but was saved…police investigators said she attempted a suicide because of Gaddafi’s death,” the Arabic language daily 'Al Watan' said.
