A Saudi woman was killed in a road accident as she was travelling across the Gulf kingdom to attend the funeral of her grandmother, the Saudi Arabic language daily 'Al Riyadh' reported on Thursday.
The woman, in her 20s, was with her husband and newly-born son when the accident occurred on the way from the Eastern region to the southwestern province of Asir, the paper said, adding the husband and baby were injured.
“This is destiny…the woman was going to attend her grandmother funeral but had not know it would be her own funeral as well,” it said. “She was buried next to her grandmother in a scene that made every one cry.”
