Woman saved from suicide

An Indian woman went to the balcony of her apartment in the third floor of a building in Kuwait and dangled her body out with the intention of committing a suicide but was stopped in the last minute.

A large number of people watched with horror as the woman threatened to hurl herself down despite their pleas not to do so.

“Some phoned police and the civil defence, who came and tried to dissuade her but she remained adamant,” Alwatan daily said.

“Civil defence men then decided to resort to the last choice in such cases…some of them tried to detract her attention as others reached the balcony by a ladder and grabbed her.”
