Woman saved twice… from fire and kidnap

Saudi civil defence men sent to put out a blaze at a house found themselves facing a dual task—saving a woman from the blaze and then from kidnappers.

After succeeding in pulling the exhausted woman out of the burning house, they just rested her outside and went back inside only to hear her screams again.

“Two men stopped their car and tried to snatch the woman,” Ajel newspaper said in a report from the northwestern town of Tabuk.

“The civil defence men rushed back outside and attacked the kidnappers, who were force to flee without the woman…...an hour later, one of them was seized by police while they mounted a manhunt for his friend.”
