Saudi plane nearly hit by lightning [video]

A Saudi passenger aircraft on a domestic flight was nearly struck by lightning as it flew over Northwest Saudi Arabia.

A YouTube film published by Ajel newspaper showed the plane was flying over the Northwestern town of Hail when lightning struck just past it.

The paper said the lightning missed the aircraft and there were no casualties.
