School bags with 'cross' seized in Saudi

Saudi authorities seized school bags marked with a cross and sold at several shops ahead of the new scholar year in the Gulf Kingdom.
Police, quoted by Makkah newspaper, said the bags for the primary students seized in the western town of Makkah also carried “improper and indecent” words in English.

“We have impounded all those bags and taken measures to ensure they will not be sold here again,” police spokesman Turki Al Shaleel told the paper.
