Six held for stealing school money

Police in Sharjah arrested six Asians, including school workers, for stealing nearly Dh19,000 and a number of mobile phones from the school’s safe, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The school cleaner confessed to the crime in collaboration with the guard, a female cleaner and three others, Alittihad said.

It quoted a police spokesman as saying the school cleaner and his accomplices confessed after tests showed his finger prints were on the safe.
