Son has BBQ on dad's grave

A man shocked mourners when he had a barbeque on his father’s grave in Rustenburg, South Africa.

The 59-year-old said he “wasn’t doing anything evil”. And that he was simply following a traditional healer’s advice to perform this ritual so as to get a fortune, according to newsbite quoting a Dailysun report.

He poured cold drink and a beverage on his father’s grave, slaughtered a chicken and prepared a fire for BBQ.

He said the healer had asked him to eat it alone and burn the remaining chicken to ashes and not to take it home.
