Speeding car falls in Saudi lake

A Saudi driver escaped with light injuries when his car plunged into a lake after he lost control of the vehicle because of speeding.

The driver was travelling at high speed on the road near the lake in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah when it suddenly overturned and fell in the water.

“Civil defence men pulled the driver and the car out of the lake. The driver was taken to hospital with slight injuries,” ‘Sada’ newspaper said.
