Hacker’s pal nabbed in Sri Lanka

Colombo magistrate Rashmi Singappuli on Tuesday ordered to keep Gayan Roshantha De Silva, who is the owner of “marusira.com”, under remand custody until May 2.

He was arrested on April 29 upon a complaint lodged by the Department of Military Intelligence (DMI) to the CID, that he had sold software to computer hackers.

Police reported to the court that the suspect has hacked in to web sites and sold software and passwords to other hackers to illegally enter websites and delete information.
