Lover threatens to put girl's compromising pics on web

A student lover of a school girl in Sri Lanka threatened to release her nude photographs on the Internet after she refused to have sex with for the second time, the ‘Lankadeepa’ newspaper reported.

Police officers attached to the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) filed a report in the courts saying that the suspect, who had been having an affair with the -girl, had taken her to his home on the excuse  that his mother was ill and had sex with her..

NCPA said the suspect recorded the sex act on his mobile phone camera. When the suspect demanded sex for the second time, she had rufesed after which the suspect threatned to post her naked pictures online.

NCPA officers stated that the judicial medical report said the girl had been sexually abused.

Both the suspect and the girl live near Kurunegala. The suspect has been arrested and remanded to police custoday tll Marh5.

The magistrate ordered that the suspect’s mobile phone be sent to the computer division of  Colombo University and a report obtained.

Lover held for underage girl’s pregnancy

Police in Sri Lanka have arrested the lover of an underage girl for getting her pregnant, the ‘Lankadeepa’ said.

The 14-year-old girl’s father lodged a police complaint after he found a maternity clinic card issued by the local midwife, some packets of nutrition and a letter issued by a justice of the peace (JP) in favour of the suspect and the girl. The letter said the suspect had promised to marry the girl after she reaches the age 18.

Police has arrested the girl’s mother for helping the suspect.

In the mid-wife’s maternity card issued on Thursday, the girl’s and the suspect’s ages have been stated as 15 and 18 respectively. It also said the girl is two and a half months pregnant.

The girl’s parents are separated. The suspect had started an affair with the girl and had started living in her house with the consent of her mother after the father moved out.

Police are planning to file cases before the courts against the suspect and the girl’s mother. The midwife and the JP will be charged with issuing false reports.
