Medical report 'confirms' man pregnant

A private medical laboratory in Sri Lanka’s Suriyawewa area is making headlines after confirming a man pregnant.

The 35-year-old had approached the lab to have his blood and urine samples tested as advised by his doctor, reported ‘Mawbima’.

Investigations reveal, this is not the first such incident.

Several people claimed they had to re-do their tests in other facilities, after receiving incorrect diagnosis from the said lab.

Patients also complain that charges at that lab is on the higher side, but they are forced to go there as their doctors advise them to do so.

Now, the Ministry of Health has stepped in to investigate the issue.
