Police have launched a hunt to apprehend an absconder for sexually abusing his younger brother’s three underage daughters, reported ‘Sunday Mawbima’.

The accused reportedly abused them time and again by inviting them to his home.

The little girls – aged between two-and-a-half and eight years – used to visit their uncle’s house, which was adjacent to theirs, to bathe with the pipe due to non-availability of water in their house. The incident reported took place in Sri Lanka.

The issue came to light when the youngest child related story to her mother and was also confirmed by the elder sisters. The mother then lodged a complaint to police against the uncle but he fled from his home before his arrest.

Police revealed that the suspect’s wife and four children left him as he had brought another woman at home. He reportedly molested the little girls in the absence of his second wife.

The three underage girls have been admitted to Akmeemana Hospital for medical check-up.

Police are further investigating the case.
