Turtle thieves in a soup!

Two persons have been arrested by the police for attempting to enter a Turtle Conservation Centre in Kosgoda in the wee hours on Thursday.
 
According to the police, a group of persons had arrived at the Conservation Centre in a van around 2:00 a.m. and were in possession of a firearm. When the alert residents of the area gathered at the scene the suspects had attempted to flee.
 
The persons in the van had escaped but two suspects were arrested and are in police custody.

They are to be produced before a Magistrate once investigations are completed.
