During the meeting Sheikh Maktoum and Sands exchanged views on investment and financial cooperation between the centre and group.
Sands lauded the economic recovery being witnessed by the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, citing good reputation of Dubai financial, economic and service institutions worldwide.
He added that Dubai is the biggest regional centre for the group.
