Teacher dies in gym, after escaping shooting

A Saudi school teacher died while exercising at a gymnasium in the Gulf Kingdom just a week after he escaped being shot by a student.

Following a heated argument, the school boy brought a gun and wanted to shoot the teacher but he escaped after the student was stopped by other teachers.

“A week later, the teacher collapsed and died while having exercises at a gymnasium,” ‘Sada’ newspaper said in a report from the Western town of Turabah.

School mistress dies in class

A Saudi school mistress died in class at a government school in Saudi Arabia as her little pupils looked in shock, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Sara Daifallah was giving a lesson to her school girls in the capital Riyadh when she lost her balance and collapsed in class, ‘Sabq’ Arabic language daily said.

The paper did not specify her age but quoted doctors as saying the teacher died after suffering from a strong diabetic fit in class.
