Teen girl gang-raped at gun-point in Delhi

India rape horror continues as reports have emerged of a teenaged girl allegedly being gang-raped at gunpoint by five people known to her in a west Delhi house.

According to Delhi police, quoted by The Times of India, the victim is Class X student, and she was taken to a house in west Delhi by the accused when she was going to school.

There she was raped in turn by the five, all of whom known to her. Of the five accused, three are minors.

In her complaint, the victim told the police that one of the accused brandised a pistol and threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone.

She added the accused also recorded the incident on a mobile phone.

Two minors have been apprehended while a 20-year-old accused was also arrested.

Facebook friend held for rape, blackmail

An engineering student has been arrested for allegedly raping and blackmailing a 23-year-old woman software engineer by making an obscene video clip of her, The Times of India has reported.

The civil engineering student who hails from Bhavnagar in Gujarat, was arrested on Sunday after a written complaint was filed by a woman alleging that he raped and blackmailed her for many months.

The woman became friends with the accused through Facebook.

She alleged that the accused had come to see her on January 4 this year and took her sight-seeing, after which he gave her coffee laced with some sedative.

After this he recorded an obscene video of her on his mobile phone.

The accused then threatened her to make the clip public and began to rape her.
