The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology had forecast that temperature on Sunday are likely to go up to 46°C.
It was expected to be dusty and cloudy, while winds are predicted to be light, sometimes stirring dust in interior and western regions.
Temperatures in the northern areas were expected to be 45°C; 44°C in southern areas, western coast and the islands; 43°C on the northern coast; 37°C in eastern mountainous regions and 35°C on the east coast.
The weather on Monday is expected to be dusty and partly cloudy.
