Thief briefly steals car with two kids

A car thief in Sharjah looking for an easy target stumbled across an open vehicle with its engine on, so he simply got in and drove away, unaware of the presence of two children lying in the back. Apparently after seeing them, he stopped the car on the other side and fled.

The car owner, an Arab man, had parked his vehicle near a shopping mall at night, leaving his sons, 4 and 7, inside. When he came back after a few minutes, he could neither find the car nor his children.

“He began screaming then he called the police…after a brief search, police found the car on the opposite side while his two sons were still asleep,” Alkhaleej daily said.
