Thief caught red handed in Fujairah

Fujairah police arrested a masked thief just as he smashed his way into a department store and tried to rob it, a newspaper reported on Sunday

Police rushed to the area after receiving an alert that a thief was inside “Emirates Markets”, the Arabic language daily Emarat Al Youm said.

It quoted police as saying the thief, who carried a bag containing cutters and other items, tried to flee but was caught on the spot.
