Thief steals car with child inside

A thief stole a car parked near a busy road while the four-year-old daughter of its owner was sleeping inside, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The thief, who was arrested by the police later, was stalking a car when he saw one with its engine running near a supermarket in the Southern Jazan province.

“He simply jumped in and drove away. He later noticed that there is a child in the back seat. He dumped her in that area and drove away,” ‘Ajel’ Arabic language daily said, adding that police seized the man after a car chase.
