Three killed in plane crash
Three people were killed and another was seriously injured on Sunday when a small plane crashed shortly after taking off from an airport in southern Slovenia, local police said.
The accident happened at the Divaca sports airport, some 80 kilometres (49 miles) south of capital Ljubljana. The small Robin DR400 plane had the pilot and three passengers on board, state television reported on its website.
"Three people were killed and one is in serious condition. We can't confirm their identities yet," police spokeswoman Anita Leskovec told AFP, adding that an investigation at the accident site was under way.
State television said the plane was owned by a local Aero club and was flown by their pilot, who was among the victims.
