The Federal Supreme Court sentenced a man for three months in prison on charges of breach of trust involving swindling money from his own company, newspapers reported on Wednesday.

A court had earlier sentenced the unnamed man to three months in jail on three counts including breach of trust, embezzlement and forgery of company documents, prompting him to appeal the verdict.

The Federal Supreme Court upheld that sentence although he denied the charges filed by his firm accusing him of embezzling Dh62,000.
