Truck falls off Saudi bridge: driver dead

A large truck rammed into the steel barrier of a bridge in Saudi Arabia and plunged down to the road, killing its driver on the spot.

‘Ajel’ newspaper quoted police as saying the driver had apparently lost control of the vehicle because of speed.

“The truck hit the barrier and fell off the bridge. The driver was killed while another man was seriously injured,” it said in a report from the capital Riyadh.
