A criminal court in Ras Al Khaimah sentenced two Asian men to death after they were convicted of smuggling drugs into the emirate, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The two had been seized with some quantities of narcotics a few years ago following a trap by police and anti drug squads in the emirate, Emirat Alyoum said.
The paper did not identify the defendants but said they would be shot in line with existing laws.
