UAE driver killed after ramming into power pole in RAK

A 25-year-old Emirati driver was killed after his car rammed into a power pole in Ras Al Khaimah and police said speed was the cause of the accident.

The driver, identified only as MAM, was driving in the motorway in Maneei area when his vehicle suddenly swerved off the road and crashed into the power pylon.

Police said the man suffered from serious injuries and died in hospital later.
