UAE Weather: Dust winds cause low visibility

The National Centre of Meteorology, NCM, has called on drivers and pedestrians to take all necessary precautions when on roads due to blowing dust and sand causing poor horizontal visibility.

The NCM issued a statement noting poor visibility of less than 2,000 metres at times as a result of fresh northwesterly to westerly winds, adding that wind speeds could reach up to 45 km/hr.
