UAE weather: Rains lash Hatta; humidity levels to go up [videos]

Heavy rains lashed the Hatta area on Wednesday evening.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) had issued warning on Wednesday about convective cloud forming over some eastern areas. Rain and fresh winds was also expected.

According to the NCMS' weather forecast for Thursday, rainfall can be expected in the eastern parts of the country even as partly cloudy weather continue over some areas, with a chance of convective clouds development near the eastern areas.

Light to moderate winds, freshening at times during noontime can be expected.

Relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of some mist/fog formation. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
