Wadeema's killer insults prison officers

The mistress of the Wadeema's father, was sentenced to an additional four months in jail for insulting two police officers.
 
She, along with her paramour, had earlier been convicted of torturing and killing his eight-year-old daughter, Wadeema.
 
On November 27, 2013 while AA, 28, was serving her jail term she was noticed as not putting on her prison outfit and was asked to do so by a policewoman. The prisoner did not listen to the instructions and instead assaulted the officer.
 
“I asked her to wear the prison outfit and instead of listening to the instructions she insulted me, and even more, she attempted to attack me and shouted. Other prisoners and policewomen prevented her and brought her under control. She said to me: 'You are an animal... I will show you what I am capable of', before starting her attack,” testified police Corporal HM, 41.
 
A month later, the prisoner insulted a female police major, NA, whom she approached to send her baby boy to Wadeema's father who is also serving his jail term for the killing of his daughter.
 “I was in my office when the prisoner came to me asking if any of the guards could take her baby boy to his father. I told her I will check if any of the guards from the men’s prison is available… Suddenly, she shouted at me and cursed me.”

Considering probable consequence of her misbehavior she said: “I am in prison anyway, I do not bother getting extra months for insulting,” testified the officer.
 
Both the Corporal and the Major reported the incidents and logged complaints against the prisoner for her misbehaviour.

 The records mentioned that the prisoner failed to attend investigations regarding the two incidents.

The prisoner was referred to the Misdemeanour Court on accusations of insults and attack and to which she was found guilty and been awarded two months in jail for each incident.
 
This was not the first time that she insulted jail officers as last year she had insulted a policewoman and for which she was sentenced to one month extra in jail.
 
Earlier this year, she was fined Dh1,000 for attacking another prisoner over a bag of crisps.
