An Emirati woman escaped unscathed after her car swerved off the road and overturned on the pavement in Abu Dhabi, press reports said on Monday.
The woman was taken to hospital but doctors said she did not suffer from any injury although the car landed on its top on the pavement at an intersection between Delma and Airport roads in the capital.
Police said they believe the accident was caused when the unnamed woman tried to avoid another car driven by a European man who abruptly tried to change lane, according to the semi-official 'Al Ittihad' daily.
