Woman recruited as maid ‘crippled’

A Saudi man got a shock when he went to airport and found that the Asian housemaid he had hired through a labour office was crippled.

The man waited for more than hour for the maid to come through customs and security systems at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh only to find that she was in a wheel chair.

“He found that the maid was crippled and in a wheel chair. The recruitment office had not told him that the maid is paralyzed,” Sada newspaper said.
