17 killed in Baghdad market bombings

Three explosions ripped through a market in southern Baghdad on Thursday, killing 17 people and wounding 35, an interior ministry official said.

"Three improvised bomb explosions at the Shurt al-Raba market killed 17 people and wounded 35," the official said.
