British police arrest 2 journalists for questioning
British police investigating corrupt links between police and reporters say they have arrested two journalists for questioning.
Scotland Yard says the men, who are 37 and 34 years old, were detained at their homes early Wednesday.
Police say they are being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to corrupt and of a conspiracy to cause misconduct in a public office.
The arrests related to suspected payments to a public official.
So far, 41 people have been arrested in a U.K. police operation on corruption that is tied to a parallel probe into Britain's phone hacking scandal.
The corruption probe focuses on payments to officials for information that could lead to newspaper scoops.
