Child plunges six floors to death

A six-year-old Egyptian boy plunged to his death from his apartment in the sixth floor in Kuwait City and police blamed his parents’ negligence, a local newspaper said on Saturday.

The boy was playing with his younger brother at the balcony after they were left by their parents alone at home, Alanba said.

“The building’s watchman phoned the police and told them a boy had died after falling from the sixth floor,” it said.

“Their parents told police they were at work but had not expected this to happen…police accused them of negligence.”
