'Dead' woman returns to life during burial

A 59-year-old Moroccan woman declared dead by doctors woke up and screamed while her relatives were burying her, newspapers in Morocco reported on Tuesday.

The woman, suffering from diabetes and brain cancer, was taken to hospital in the Northwestern town of Berrechid after having a diabetic fit and doctors decided she died after she went into coma, they said, quoting her relatives.

While burying her at the local cemetery, the woman suddenly moved before she woke up and screamed, causing a stampede among the mourners, the report said, adding that the woman was rushed back to hospital.
