Father jailed for life for raping teenage daughter

A father has been jailed for life for raping teenage daughter under the influence of liquor.

After raping the teenager, the 43-year-old father threatened her not to tell anyone about the incident, Times of India reported.

The incident happened in New Delhi. The judge also fined 30,000 rupees to the accused.

The report said that the teenager daughter herself had filed a case against the father in March 2011.

The girl had alleged in the report that her father had been raping her repeatedly for about two to three years.
