From Asia to UK via Dubai in tuk-tuk

Naveen Rabellil, who has set out on his dream journey from India to UK on a tuk, passed through Dubai recently. He will cross 10 countries enroute.

What’s more interesting is that he undertakes his journey on custom-made, solar-powered vehicle.

Speaking to Emirates 24|7, 34-year-old Rabelli said, “My classmates and well-wishers helped customize an old tuk that I bought for [Indian] Rs.60,000. I spent my savings on this trip.”

Rabelli quit his job last year to prepare for the journey. Some of his sponsors have backed out, but he remains determined to complete his dream journey.

He has been receiving media attention not only in his home country but also in Europe and America.
