An international rights watchdog says Moammar Gaddafi's captured son and once heir apparent, Seif al-Islam, has told the group he hasn't seen a lawyer or any family members while in custody of Libya's revolutionary forces.
Human Rights Watch said in a statement Wednesday it visited Seif al-Islam in his jail in the town of Zintan on Sunday.
HRW's special adviser Fred Abrahams, who met with Seif al-Islam, says he "had no complaints about the physical conditions of his detention" but that "his main concern was the lack of access to family and to a lawyer."
HRW is urging Libya's new authorities to ensure Gaddafi's son gets legal representation.
Seif al-Islam was captured in November. The ICC charged him with crimes against humanity earlier this year but Libya's new rulers want to try him at home.
