Girl student raped in a public transport van

A young female student on her way to home was gang-raped by six men while she was travelling in a public transport van in Jakarta, media reports said.

Asia One News reported that first she was hit on the back of her head which made her unconscious and then the men raped her.

After the rape, they dumped her near a railroad track in an unconscious condition.

The victim’s friend told Kompas.com that after she awakened, she was shocked to discover what had happened to her.

She took a cab and went to her house after recovering from the shock. Her family took her to the police station to report the case. However, no valuables were stolen by the rapists.
