British police say a murder inquiry has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed at the home of former world champion boxer Herbie Hide.

Norfolk Police say they were called to the property near Norwich in eastern England after a ``man in his 20s had been stabbed.''

Police say the incident occurred at a private party at Hide's house attended by more than 100 people.

The statement says Hide and his family ``have relocated as police carry out investigations at the scene.''

Police are yet to confirm the victim's identity.

Hide is a former WBO champion.
