Plane bound for Kozhikode lands in Kochi

A flight that took off from the capital city of the South Indian state of Kerala and bound to Kozhikode landed at Kochi airport instead.

There were 32 passengers onboard the Alliance Air flight on Monday when the fiasco happened.

The pilot told air traffic controllers that he thought they had landed in Kozhikode and that there probably was some navigational error, reported Zeenews.com.

The airline, however, said there was a last-minute change in the crew's duty timings and that the flight was headed directly to Kochi.
