Two people were killed and two wounded in a suicide car bombing in front of the offices of a non-governmental organisation in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, officials said.
Ahmad Faisal of the Kandahar government's media office gave the toll, while a doctor at nearby Mirwais hospital said it had received three wounded, two of whom had since died.
The car bomber had exploded in front of the offices of the US-based International Relief and Development offices in the southern city, said Ghorzang, spokesman for the police chief of Kandahar.
He said sporadic gunfire of security guards was ongoing at the site.
