Yemen president praises UAE

Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi today expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by UAE, Saudi Arabia and other members of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to liberate the province of Aden from the rebel Houthi group and militia loyal to the now-deposed president Ali Abdullah Saleh, in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope.

In a statement to Yemen's state news agency on the first anniversary of liberating Aden, which falls on 29th June, President Hadi stressed that Yemen's legitimate authorities are able to overcome obstacle and challenges facing the country.

He called upon the Yemeni political powers to close their ranks to counter the challenges.

Hadi further noted that the Houthi-Saleh militia continue their aggression against unarmed Yemeni people in the provinces of Taiz and Aden.
