A Kuwaiti man armed with a machine gun went near a key newspaper in the Gulf emirate and started opening fire in air.

The unidentified man then tried to push his way into the offices of Al Rai Arabic language daily but was overpowered by police and security men guarding the company’s gates.

“The man asked them to let him because he wants to give exciting news to the newspaper,” Alanba daily said.

“He claimed that an unknown party has planted a GPS tag inside his head to track his movements and wanted to break the news to the paper.”
