Classical music best for calming dogs

Dogs calm down when they hear soothing classical music, whereas loud music worries them, according to a new US study.
According to Assistant Professor Lori Kogan, classical music reduces anxiety in dogs, noting that its effectiveness in calming the animals surpassed the music specially created to calm the canines.
Researchers from the University of CNN SUV in Colorado studied 117 dogs and three types of music including classical and rock music for 45 minutes
They concluded that classical music is best for calming dogs while dogs barked worriedly after listening to rock music.
